FAQ
What areas do you service?
I'm based in Elora, and I regularly work across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and the surrounding areas. If you're outside that range, I’m always open to travel - just reach out and we’ll figure out the details.
How far in advance should I book a shoot?
Ideally, 3-4 weeks ahead helps secure your preferred date, especially if we need to coordinate with a homeowner. But if you’re on a tighter timeline, reach out - I’ll do my best to fit you in.
How long does a shoot usually take?
Smaller projects like kitchens or bathrooms typically take 1–2 hours, while full homes can take several hours to a full day—depending on the size of the space and how many angles we’re capturing. I’ll provide a clear time estimate during our planning call so you know exactly what to expect.
What should I tell the homeowner before the shoot?
I’ll send you a prep guide that you can pass along. It includes simple tips like decluttering surfaces, opening blinds, and turning on lights - nothing fancy, just a few easy steps to make the space shine.
Do I need to be on-site during the shoot?
While it is preferred, I can work independently as long as the space is accessible and ready for photography. If a homeowner will be present, it's best if you are there to make introductions and then we can walk them through what to expect.
When will I get the photos?
You'll get a proof gallery within 3–5 business days so you can pick your favourites. Final edited images are usually delivered within two weeks of the shoot. Need them sooner? Just let me know—I'll do my best to make it work.
How many photos will I get?
Each package includes a set number of final images, which we’ll confirm in advance. After the shoot, you’ll receive a proof gallery to choose your favourites—or you can upgrade to the full set if you'd like them all.
Can I use the photos on my website and social media?
Yes! The photos are yours to show off on your website, social channels, and other marketing pieces! If you’re planning to send them to a magazine, submit for awards, or pass them along to contractors, let’s chat first to sort out the extra permissions.
